Details of inspections carried out by the Resident Inspector Team
Inspection 1 - ‘Ready to Let Properties’
The resident inspector group at Westlea carried out their first inspections in the summer of 2009. They looked at a selection of properties that were ready to let to see if they met our standards. Overall, they found that the majority of properties were ready to let but they did pick up on some areas that could be improved, mainly relating to cleaning, the state of decoration and minor repair work.
Toni Andrews is one of the inspectors, “I thoroughly enjoyed all the inspections and found the diversity of ‘lets’ very interesting and in some cases eye opening. The feedback meetings gave us the impetus we needed to work as a team and to exchange our views on the findings”
Inspection 2 – Resident Involvement in Estate Walkabouts
The group started planning this inspection in December 2009 and are now observing walkabouts in different areas. Watch this space for our next update.
